After a hiatus, Karishma Tanna started making headlines again from the beginning of this year and how! The actress returned to the small screen with her cameo in Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 3. While Mouni and Adaa went missing, people were left heartbroken and they couldn't wait to know who will step into the shoes of the naagins. Finally, Ekta revealed her first naagin and it was none other than, Karishma Tanna. The actress always made heads turn with her stint and this time also we're not disappointed. She even played a character in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju and received immense praise for it. She has been in the industry for a long time and has played numerous supporting roles, and few lead roles in TV shows. In Ekta Kapoor's ongoing supernatural show, Qayamat Ki Raat, she is headlining the cast and is pretty good at it. We caught up with the actress to know more about her work...
It's celebration time for you as all of your projects - Naagin 3, Sanju, Qayamat Ki Raat are bagging appreciation from all corners. How do you feel about it?
I feel ecstatic as all the three projects have bagged appreciation from everywhere. I am really happy and glad and I thank God. I really feel great and who won't feel good about it!
Naagin 3 is topping the BARC charts week after week, how do you feel about it?
I feel good, I opened the show. And as I was playing the first Naagin, I really felt good. Though my track will come and go but I would like to take the credit also. A little credit.
Qayamat Ki Raat is also faring well, so do you want it to overtake Naagin?
I feel the genre is so powerful, that housewives, the older generation, the younger generation, in fact, I believe all the generations would love to watch this kind of a show. It is little pacy and nice and at the same time grabbing all the attention. And I am very happy as this is my solo lead show and doing so well. It is high time I get my due credit.
How is it working with Vivek Dahiya?
Working with Vivek is amazing. First, he is a fun guy and has a lot of good sense of humour and at the same time, he is chilled out just like me. You need to have chilled out people on the set to finish your 12 hours shooting. You need to have a good co-star and Vivek is that one for sure. So it is lovely to work with him. He is also thoroughly professional all the time. I am really happy working with him.

I feel good. A lot of people say that it is a regressive genre but I really don't care as far as people love it and get entertained and we have the TRPs. As supernatural is working we are giving that only.
