The tigress of Bollywood Katrina Kaif made a great comeback on the silver screen with Tiger Zinda Hai, which turned out to be her highest grosser film of all time. Interestingly, Kat's next three films are with the three Khans. Her upcoming ventures include Zero with Shah Rukh Khan, Thugs Of Hindostan with Aamir Khan and Bharat with Salman Khan. Very few must have noticed that there is one similarity in these three films - all these movies are two-heroine ventures. While Bharat and Thugs of Hindostan feature Priyanka Chopra and Fatima Sana Shaikh respectively, Zero will mark the second collaboration of Katrina and Anushka Sharma after Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Apparently, the cumulative budget of these three films is above Rs 450 crore.
In the recent times, we have seen many actors not opting for two-hero or heroine projects for obvious reasons. Sometimes, it's for meaty roles or sometimes it's for screen time. This decision of Katrina definitely proves that she is not insecure of her co-stars and prefers to work on her role and character and give some kickass performances.
Interestingly, Katrina has previously done many two-heroine films which are Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Apne, Partner, Race and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Apart from her upcoming confirmed films, there are reports that Katrina is in talks for Tiger Zinda Hai sequel. The film will feature Salman in the titular character and is expected to be a larger than life action entertainer just like its previous installments.
