After revealing a few posters, the makers give us a li'l more insight into the film...
The makers of M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story have been teasing us by releasing a few looks and poster of the film, but today they released the teaser trailer of the film and it has just BLOWN our mind away. And what makes it more special is that the teaser was released while our captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is leading his team on to the field to face New Zealand at the T20 World Cup 2016. The film, which is based on the life of our Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, stars Sushant Singh Rajput as the cricketer and the first few posters and looks revealed how similar he will look to Dhoni in the film.
Earlier in the morning, the latest poster showcased how the cricketer was a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) earlier on in his career and Sushant Singh looked compelling playing the role. However, the teaser gives us a li'l more insight into the film. We see Sushant reporting on his first day of duty as a TTE and in the background, a railway official gives him instructions about his work. He is later seen walking on the platform of Kharagpur station as he makes a living working for the Railways. He is also seen sitting on that station bench on a rainy day, while in the background Ravi Shashtri's commentary about Dhoni helping India win the World Cup goes on.
Though Sushant looks similar to Dhoni, he doesn't sound like him. That's the only flaw we could figure out as of now. The story however looks intriguing.
Directed by Neeraj Pandey, M. S. Dhoni: The Untold Story also stars Kiara Advani, Disha Patani, Anupam Kher and a few others. Kiara Advani will be seen playing the role of Dhoni's wife, Sakshi while Disha will be seen as his ex-girlfriend. The movie, which releases on September 02, will show the story of Dhoni's life from starting of as a TTE to becoming one of the top cricketers of the world.
