On Republic Day, the annual Stardust Awards 2013 were held in Mumbai. Priyanka Chopra won two awards - the Star of the Year - Female for Barfi! and Best Actress - Drama for the same film. A smiling Priyanka posed for pictures with her prized trophies. Barfi! also won the Film of the Year trophy.
Amitabh Bachchan was honoured with the Star of the Century award and Abhishek Bachchan with the Best Actor - Comedy / Romance for Bol Bachchan. Sr Bachchan wrote on Facebook: "What a day. Last shots for KBC, then at Aadesh Srivastava studio for Concert of Peace rehearsal, then Stardust Awards - Abhishek wins for Best Actor Comedy/Romance, and they give me one for Star of the Century .. make me dance to 'Jumma Chumma' and when I ask 'kisko dena hai chumma' ... all the beautiful ladies run up on stage and get a peck from me ... who ?? Vidya Balan, Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Farah Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Anushka Sharma .. OOH BOY !! What an evening !!"
Shahrukh Khan, Sridevi, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Ayushmann Khurrana, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Shoojit Sircar, Gauri Shinde, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Manoj Bajpayee were among those felicitated.
