We bet this question crossed many minds on Christmas eve. And so, we try hard to find out what was ‘that’ conversation all about…
When Sunny Dewan and his pretty wife Anu Dewan decided to have a Christmas eve bash, they wouldn’t have been aware that it would turn out to be a milestone-ish night. But it did! Thanks to the thoughtfully compiled guest list that included Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Salman Khan apart from Parmeshwar Godrej, Ranbir Kapoor, newlyweds Surendra Hiranandani and Alka Bhatia, Akshay and Twinkle Khanna, Shweta Bachchan-Nanda, Gauri Khan sans husband Shahrukh Khan, Ekta Kapoor, Bobby and Tanya Deol, Arbaaz and Malaika Arora Khan.
And it could have turned into an evening where the Bachchans and Sallu bhai looked in different directions whenever their gazes met. But hey, nothing of that sort happened. Instead, as soon as Sallu entered the party, he put his beefy arm around AB Jr’s shoulders and together they made their way to a quiet corner. The conversation that followed, we are told, was hearty but intense. So much so that no one present dared to interrupt these two guys who seemed to be ‘catching up’ on the lost moments. Ahem ahem.
But what exactly could they be discussing? Our feathered friends inform that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan WASN’T the focal point of their conversation. Phew! Are we relieved or what.
So what next? Did the narration of little Aaradhya Bachchan’s cute antics keep the two entertained for the whole while? Or did the bloopers of Dabangg 2 bring a smile on their faces? Sigh! How we wish we could’ve eavesdropped on that one conversation.
Even so, we won’t keep mulling over what’s done…and well, why should we? After all, here’s one real life happy ending, no? And Karan Johar, who was also present at the party, would have witnessed it all with such fondness, right? Wink, wink.
But all this makes us wonder, how long will it be before Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starts speaking to Salman Khan? Any clue, readers?
