The popular South Korean pop band BTS appeared on Good Morning America earlier this morning to perform Butter and Dynamite song. ARMYs went gaga over BTS boys' exceptional performance and killer looks. Within no time, ARMYs excitement turned into anger when the Good Morning America hosts talked about the culture of K-Pop instead of focusing on BTS. Moreover, ARMYs got upset due to the choice of words that were being used in the show.
The segment started by introducing how BTS's music is uniting fans all over the world. But host T. J. Holmes instead introduced everyone to the K-Pop industry and showed the clips of SuperM, TWICE, aespa, and others. This act left ARMY annoyed and agitated. They lost their cool as instead of talking about BTS’s journey, they shared why K-Pop, in general, is popular. The host called BTS 'new to the scene' and ARMY got upset with the mistreatment that BTS received. Within no time, ARMY started trending Free BTS on twitter and voiced their opinion on the same. Here's how the netizens reacted to all of this.
