The BAFTA Awards, Britain's equivalent of the Oscars, have been announced and Nomadland, The Father, Soul, Promising Young Woman among others are the big winners this year. The 74th British Academy Film And Television Awards understandably couldn't be the gala event like it is every year, having been broadcasted virtually from London's Royal Albert Hall, the sense of prestige was still intact, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Hugh Grant, Tom Hiddleston and Gugu Mbatha-Raw did their best under the circumstances while presenting the awards. However, the highlight of the night was Indian cinematic icons, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, being honoured under the ‘In Memorium’ segment, leaving many in tears.
