BTS' track Dynamite, which released in August 2020, was a global chartbuster. It became the first song of the group to debut on the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 and later went on to top Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S chart. It also emerged as the longest-charting Korean artist on the Hot 100 as it stood for 32 weeks beating Psy's famous single Gangnam Style, which was there for 31 weeks. While the song continues to be our favourite, the Bangtan Boys dropped a new video on Saturday, where we saw the band on the sets of their song Dynamite and showed how they come up with different steps for their first all-English track.
In the video, we see the group getting divided into three sub-units and showing some cool dance moves. While Suga, Jimin and Jungkook made a group, RM and Jin teamed up together and V paired up with J-Hope. Watching the banter of the group in this video is definitely a treat for the ARMY. Dynamite has been special for BTS as they performed this song on several occasions including Grammys as it also gave the group their first nomination. In the last year, the song received over 7,778,950 streams within a day and set the record for the biggest Spotify debut.
Apart from giving chartbusters, BTS recently grabbed the headlines for their stand on the anti-Asian attacks. The group issued a statement, which reads, "What is happening right now cannot be dissociated from our identity as Asians. It required considerable time for us to discuss this carefully and we contemplated deeply on how we should voice our message. But what our voice must convey is clear." They added, "You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together."
