BTS is one of the most successful bands and their popularity is soaring. In an interview with the other BTS member, group leader RM was talking about Be deluxe edition. He revealed that they started working on BE deluxe edition almost immediately after Dynamite.
“The memories are already starting to fade,” RM said. Jimin agreed and added, “Yeah, a lot of time has passed, about four [or] five months since we worked on it.” RM said that they started almost immediately after Dynamite.
BE deluxe edition is an eight-track album. It included the songs Dynamite, Fly To My Room, Blue & Grey, Telepathy, Dis-ease and Stay amongst others. They started working on the album after the COVID-19 restricted their live performances.
“Back then, (after the shows got cancelled) that was the only thing we could do at the edge of the cliff. So, it was kind of like the only thing I could do. Dynamite did do well after it came out, but that’s that. That’s for promotions,” RM said.
He added that when he worked on Be, it kind of felt like he was doing the only thing he could do. He said that there was a lot he wanted to say but didn’t know how to say it. He worked on the album with a lot of mixed feelings.
In a past interview with NME, the members spoke about the album. They said that they needed their fans to listen to our songs and watch them perform. It made them eager to comfort and give joy to people through their music and performance more than ever. They added that they decided to accept new challenges and be more flexible.
After the release of Be deluxe package, BTS released another version featuring the same songs. Called BE essential edition, it was released in 2021.
