It has barely been a week since BTS's new single, Film Out, was dropped, and within no time, the song has already taken the internet by storm. Music lovers all across the globe are totally digging the K-pop band's new single, skyrocketing it right to the top of the queue, where most BTS songs usually end up. Film Out, which released this past Sunday, 2nd April, is breaking trends and setting records left, right and centre. The chartbusting track has now added another feather to its cap, officially attaining pole position among YouTube's most watched music videos in the world.
BTS' Film Out has currently garnered over 53.1 million plays on YouTube, closely followed by our very own desi singing and composing sensation, Jubin Nautiyal's, Lut Gaye, in second position. Film Out is a part of the soundtrack of the Japanese film, SIGNAL The Movie Cold Case Investigation Unit, where it's played as part of the finale theme along with J-pop band Back Number.
The song has also been included in BTS's highly anticipated album, The Best, which will be available later this year. The 3-minute song dwells on multiple feelings of loss and the hopelessness one experiences after being unable to save somebody near and dear. It highlights the seven BTS members pensively pondering over memories they made together in a white-themed house before those very memories faded into a far off space. For the uninitiated, the K-pop band, BTS, is a septet of male artists, which include RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
