BTS recently took part in the Run BTS event in collaboration with tvN's The Game Cateres. While the event was a lot of fun and high on energy like most things involving the BTS band members, what most people may not have paid attention to are the outfits worn by the group, and even those who did would probably not have a clue about the exorbitant price tags said outfits came with. So if you consider yourself a diehard BTS fan and wish to dress like the band does, then be prepared to take a loan. Here's presenting the cost of the outfits worn by each of the K-pop band members for the Run BTS event...
The leader, RM, wore an artsy collegiate lineage painted button-up from BODE, which cost a cool $550 US, though his Nack Barry bucket hat and Jack Purcell Converse shoes were more affordable for common folk, priced at $34 US and $50 US respectively. His wide-legged jeans from InstantFunk were also a bit reasonable at $133 US. Coming to Suga, his unisex linen crewneck sweater from Seoul-based fashion label, Anderson Bell, was priced at $231 US, but it's his low-platform sneakers from AMI that would burn a hole in your pocket with its pricing at $520 US.
Now, things start getting really pricey: Jin's embroidered bomber jacket from New York-based Thom Browne's menswear cost a whopping $2900 US while just his slippers from Louis Vuitton came for nothing less than $1000 US. On the other hand, J-Hope's tie-dye hoodie from Palm Angels costs a staggering $1190 US. Jimin’s purple floral print hoodie from Marni was also pricesy at $500 US, but his Zadig&Voltaire T-shirt was quite reasonable, costing $180 US. Then again, V's Saint Laurent low-top sneakers were anything but low-priced at $560 US and Jungkook's oversized, chequered, flannel, button-up shirt from Off-White cost $590 US.
So, if you're a proud member of ARMY and wish to ape BTS's fashion choices, be ready to shell put the big bucks.
