At the age of 18, the actor was a Chippendale-styled stripper, with the stage name was Chan Crawford. Nope, we are not kidding you. Channing himself had revealed it on the Sway in the Morning radio show, when he had told the RJ, "I was an 18-year kid in Tampa (Florida), man. When asked how much he would make as a stripper, Channing said, "On an normal night, like a 150 bucks, that's it. But you only work for like about an hour and a half, and most of the show, you're doing like the routines and what not and then for 20 or 30 minutes at the end, that's when you go out and get the tips. It's not like women going in and staying in the club all day and have like 6-7-8 hour shifts. This is just a complete show. We put on a show and we get tipped at the end. But I went to a convention one time, where I had made about 1800 bucks (in one night)."
Upon being quizzed further if he had to offer any sexual favours for his tips, Channing denied it saying, "Other than my pen*s popping, no." As for a stripper name (usually all strippers, female and male, have one), the star revealed, "Yeah, it was kind of lame. Somebody in the group picked it. It was Chan Crawford."
