Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio grabs as much eyeballs for his superhit films and many award-winning character portrayals as he does for his constantly revolving dating life. So, it comes as no surprise that Leo is sending the media into a frenzy over his current relationship with Gigi Hadid, with speculation and theories bouncing to and fro about why they're dating. The latest rumour to crop up is that after dating his last girlfriend, Camila Morrone, the Oscar winner needed to date her because of his penchant for blondes with a typical body dimension, which he badly needed back in his life.

As per a Hollywood news report in People magazine, Leonardo DiCaprio is with Gigi Hadid because he currently needs someone of her “type” in his life. A source told the magazine that though they clearly like each other and are evidently having a good time, she's also the type he's most drawn toward in women – blondes with a body type just like hers, case in point being his exes Gisele Bundchen, Bar Refaeli, Toni Garrn and a few others. Also, though she's 2 years older than his earlier perceived dating age-bar of 25, she's also not that far off as per said source. The report further states that he needed his preferred “type” after breaking up with Camila Morrone, who was a brunette.
There are also those though among the Hollywood press and industry circles who feel Leo is not actually serious about Gigi and believes her to be mature enough to bring some stability in his personal space. According to these sources, both are currently taking it slow, but are really hoping things work out.
