Netflix will release a new CGI animated version of the first Pokemon movie. The film has been titled as Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back—Evolution. The movie is the remake of the 1998 film. It traces the journey of Ash and his friends as they get trapped in a game of pokemon's revenge. As it was shown in the original film, Evolution is the story of Pokemon: Mewtwo, which has been made by a human. It has the main characters like Ash, Pikachu and Team Rocket. The story also involves many clones. In the trailer, we can see Mewtwo's creation, the trainer competition and the final conflict.
The film will be releasing on February 27, 2019 on Netflix. Pokemon has always been popular with kids. In fact, studios have made it bigger in the past few years. Last year, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds was a part of Detective Pikachu, the first Hollywood film based on the franchise. Even Pokémon Sword and Shield did very well with the fans. Even Pokemon GO is going quite well. Fans can expect the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake from Nintendo games. The first movie originally made a debut in 1998 in Japan. A year later, it came out in North America, where it made over $85 million. We have seen 21 Pokemon movies but the original is still the best.
Pokemon, is a media franchise managed by The Pokemon Company. The shares are divided between Nintendo and two other firms. Nintendo is the sole owner of trademark in foreign countries.
