The second season of Sacred Games couldn't garner a humongous response from the viewers as compared to the first one. Sacred Games 2 wasn't a let-down and there was something definitely missing in it. While the first season opened to crazy and fantastic reactions, the second one got mixed responses from the masses. A few days after Sacred Games 2 was released on a popular OTT platform, Saif Ali Khan had himself admitted that season 2 was a bit of a 'let-down'. "The first season was outstanding, I think it was one of the best shows we ever had. It went on and got nominated for an Emmy too. The second season was a bit of a let-down, it is kind of disappointing. I think, people didn’t like the ‘sacred’ idea of the Sacred Games season 2, the guru angle. That’s what everyone says," he had told The Quint. After Saif Ali Khan, now Nawazuddin Siddiqui has come out in open about the dull response to Sacred Games 2.
