Shilpa Shinde is back on TV with Gangs of Filmistan. The lady is reuniting with former colleague Sunil Grover for this laugh riot of a show. Shilpa Shinde also turns a year older today. In an EXCLUSIVE interview, she tells BollywoodLife, "I am having a cough and cold. So honestly, I am a bit scared. We are shooting in Filmistan, which is a closed space. I am not sure if I will report for work tomorrow or not. I do not want to transfer any viruses to anyone. While precautions are being taken, while shooting we do not wear masks, so there is always a risk."
The actress who has been part of shows like Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain spoke about the challenge of shooting in the pandemic. "It is a tough job. The show comes on air daily for one hour. We have to finish shoot for the episodes in a couple of days. It is a lot of stress for actors and writers. In fact, it is tough for the creative team as they need to come up with content rather quickly. The base of a good comedy show is in the writing. Shortage of time makes it a huge challenge for us," she says.
The lady will be celebrating her birthday at home. "See, I do not party. My family stays with me. Whatever the celebrations, it is a homely thing," says Shilpa. Fans are very excited about seeing Sunil Grover and her again on Gangs Of Filmistan. After all, their chemistry on their previous show was a huge hit. We still remember the dance on Hum Tum's title song. "Sunil Grover is a fabulous actor. He is constantly improvising. It is always good to work with him. See, it is very challenging situation out there, but we're coping up as nicely as we can," she concludes.
