Legendary actor Jitendra's son Tusshar Kapoor made his Bollywood debut in 2001 with Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai alongside Kareena Kapoor and there has been no looking back from him since then. He won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for his film and then he featured in some blockbuster films like Golmaal, Kya Kool Hai Hum and more. Now, he has stepped into the world of production. He made his debut as a producer with Akshay Kumar's Laxmii and is looking forward to producing more such good films. As he completes 20 years in the industry, Tusshar recently got candid about his journey as an actor and more.
During the interview, Tusshar shared about the best and worst parts of being in the industry. "The best part of my journey of course has been working in this industry. The thrill of being on sets, the thrill of watching yourself on the monitor, the thrill of playing a character, the thrill of promotions, the thrill of releasing a trailer, the thrill of releasing a song, thrill of rehearsing for an event, thrill of going the gym - everything connected to my work has been very rewarding and been best part of my life and career," he said.
Talking about the worst parts, Tusshar said, "The worst part are of course the dull, rainy days. The night shoots are the worst part." He also added that he does not enjoy getting ready for award functions. Further, Tusshar Kapoor spoke about donning a producer's hat. He mentioned that there has been no change in his choices now that he has turned a producer. He picks up the projects that he believes in and goes with it.
The Golmaal actor was also asked if he received any recommendation from his parents when he was venturing into the industry. Tusshar stated, "There was no recommendation. My dad and mom didn't move a toe to get me my first film. I was working as AD with David Dhawan ji and people like Rumi Jafferi recommended my name to Vashu ji. Of course, because of my family background I got the opportunity easily but it is not that anybody recommended my name. After first film, my journey has been mine."
