Luka Chuppi is about to release this Friday and we can hardly contain our excitement. From the first look itself, the movie has been creating a buzz. Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon will present to fans the fresh concept of live-in relationships with a twist in this one. Luka Chuppi is all about live-in but sah-parivaar. When the makers released the trailer, all hell broke loose. The video follows Guddu (Kartik) proposing marriage to Rashmi (Kriti) but the latter offers to live-in. The two decide to fool the society about being married but their plan goes kaput. When their parents find out about their fake wedding, they force them to live together. With some good punches and soundtracks, the film guarantees a good watch.
And all the dialogue promos and songs from the film got us so curious about Kartik’s character in the film that we couldn’t help but ask the actor himself about it. In an exclusive interaction with the cast, we popped up the query to Kartik. We enquired if he borrowed any trait, from his most loved character Sonu from his last film, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, for Guddu, and the actor replied, ''Sonu was overpowering in everything he did. I couldn't imbibe his character traits in Guddu because he is a very different character from Sonu. This is altogether a very different territory for me as an actor because he (Guddu) is a reporter from a small town in Mathura. He works on the news channel - Mathura Live - and is a very honest guy. He is not a street-smart kind of guy and is very simple, unlike Sonu.''
''With Sonu, you felt like taking him home but with Guddu you would want to take him home to your parents,” the actor added. All said and done, Kartik’s Sonu was certainly a path-breaking one for the actor and has been immortalized in the history of Bollywood. Kartik too feels close to the character.
