Tanushree Dutta has been in the news ever since she returned to the country thanks to the sexual abuse allegations that she levelled against Nana Patekar. That certainly set the ball rolling and soon more women came out, sharing similar experiences. Right from AIB comedians Utsav Chakaraborty, Gursimran Khamba, to industry veterans like Rajat Kapur and Alok Nath - all have come under the scanner. Recently, during a media interaction, reality-show favourite, Dolly Bindra and Rahul Roy spoke about the sensational movement.

Dolly, who is best known for brash attitude in Bigg Boss 4, stated, “There are a lot of loopholes in this fiasco.” She also added that if one goes through the paper work of Nana-Dutta controversy, in CINTAA, “words like compromise and settlements,” have been used. “So, I don’t know why this is happening now,” she wonders. The lady also said that she has heard this that, “#MeToo foundation is sponsoring her, to spread their ideologies.” She also questions that in the video, the men doing vandalism were group of journalists so “why is Raj Thackeray dragged into this.” Dolly also made it clear that just because she is a woman, she won’t be a pseudo feminist. “Get the facts right,” she stated.
Rahul Roy, who won the first season of Bigg Boss, was also present with her. He said, “Any girl harassed has to be protected. This country is not ready to handle this situation. We don’t have a legal system. We are hypocrites and we admit it. The west is trying to handle it we are far behind. This is the unfortunate reality.”
