Subhash Ghai's Taal, which released in 1999, was a musical hit that gave us an opportunity to see such powerhouses of talent coming together on the big screen. With Anil Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Taal was expected to strike gold at the box office. Soon the makers were keen to cast Ash and Anil in their future projects. Because hey, their chemistry in Taal was one of the major highlights of the film, after its remarkable album. Their next release, Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai was equally loved by the audience. However, little did they know they would have to wait for 18 long years to see these two reunite on the big screen. Now mind you, 18 years is a huge gap and many equations go north and south in such a big time frame. So did Anil and Mrs Bachchan continue to share the mutual respect they had for each other or was it kinda awkward for them when they faced the camera together after so many years.? When BollywoodLife, in its exclusive chat with Anil Kapoor, asked the actor how his equation with Ash has evolved all through these years, he was quick to answer that it was the same.
Anil had that faint smile on his face while answering the question as if he was reminiscing those years passed by. From 2000 to 2018, a lot has changed, but he still continues to share the same rapport with our former Miss World. When we asked him to describe his equation with Ash, he simply said, "It has been the same and there has been no change. She's still so beautiful, fantastic, perfectionist, professional. May be even better." We bet even Aishwarya would appreciate his everlasting energy and applaud him for the way he keeps himself so fit. Also Read: Exclusive! When asked if he's sceptical to sign negative roles, he corrected us by saying that he's hungry for good scripts. When he signs a movie, there are numerous factors that he keeps in mind like the star cast, his fees for the project and of course if the script is powerful enough or not. He has no qualms in admitting that he signed Race 3 purely for monetary reasons and nothing else. Now that's the honesty we like!
