Nora Fatehi has come a long way from where she started. The Canadian beauty ventured into the Hindi cinema in 2014 but she tasted success only with the song Dilbar from Satyameva Jayate (2018). Thereafter, there was no looking back for Nora as she is one of the talented artists that Bollywood has. Nora has proved that she can groove like no other and can literally kill with her spectacular dance moves. Her recent song O Saki Saki has become a chartbuster and her acting chops in Batla House are being lauded too. However, everything wasn't all easy for Nora Fatehi when she had just step foot in the industry. Nora faced her own share of struggles. She was even duped of Rs 20 lakh by the agency that she worked with earlier.
Nora has herself admitted the fact that life is difficult for foreigners in India as they go through a lot. Narrating the hardships that she faced in her career, Nora exclusively told BollywoodLife, "I came to India with just Rs 5000 in my pocket. However, the agency, that I used to work with, would only give me Rs 3000 per week. And managing day-to-day routine within the given amount was really difficult for me. But I managed it smartly so that I didn't run out of money by the end of the week." She added that however when a person is working towards his/her dream, all of this doesn't matter.
Amidst all of this, there was a time when Nora had to actually leave India as her roommates once stole her passport. She was sharing an apartment with 8 girls and was shocked to discover her passport was missing. She had to go back to Canada for a while. Today, Nora has achieved it all because of her sheer hard work and passion.
