Armaan Malik is the Hindi voice of Aladdin's character in Disney's film by the same name. The 23-year-old guy has delivered a couple of hit Hindi tracks -- Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, Kyun Rabba and Chale Aana to name a few. When the makers of Aladdin announced their collaboration with the Malik boy, he was on cloud nine and his happiness knew no bounds. Armaan was thrilled to be associated with the fantasy story that has been with us since childhood. Armaan was not only offered to dub for Aladdin's part but also croon a special track for the movie featuring Will Smith, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban, Nasim Pedrad, and Billy Magnussen. The young lad has recreated the popular track 'a whole new world' from Aladdin in Hindi and it is called Naya Jahaan. In an exclusive interaction with us, Armaan crooned a few lines of his song and we were mighty impressed with it. Armaan revealed how he was offered to dub for Aladdin's character, three wishes he wants Genie to fulfil and even expressed his desire to work with Will Smith one day. During our 'what if' segment , we asked Armaan to cast Bollywood actors for a desi version of Aladdin and he had some interesting names to take. Armaan mentioned some big Bollywood names for the roles of Aladdin, Jafar, Sultan, Princess Jasmine and Genie. The singer picked Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan for Aladdin's part, Manoj Pahwa for Sultan's, Alia Bhatt for princess Jasmine's role and Ranveer Singh for Genie's part.

Expressing his excitement to be part of Aladdin, he had earlier said, "Aladdin has been one of my favourite films since childhood. Being a musician, my fascination with the film began with its songs, A Whole New World being my favourite among all of them. I am really honoured to be given the opportunity to be the voice of Aladdin."
