It's true that festivity is in the air but it is business as usual for Bollywood which is all set to cash in from the clash of two Dushhera releases of two big budgeted films. One of them is the Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer Badhaai Ho--which has already garnered rave reviews in a matter of few hours--and the other being Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's Namaste England which is poised to grow considering it's going to be a long weekend. If one were to think, jitters don't sound very far-fetched.
In fact, when we recently sat down with the Ishqzaade jodi to know if they think it would be a smooth sail or otherwise, Arjun Said, "No. You’ve seen for the last so many years if your film is good, it will do well. Like Satyameva Jayate and Gold. There was Kaabil and Raaes. So, eventually, it depends on what the film is. We have to put our best out there. There is an audience for both films. However, he did give a candid statement and added, "Both of us (hints at Parineeti) know Ayushmaan. She has worked with him, I’m very fond of him. We will only be hoping that sabki chale, apni thodi zyaade chale which is the philosophy which we have to honest about it at the end of the day." Even Parineeti nodded in agreement. "There are such producers for both the film. Both are seasoned, they wouldn’t put out their films if they thought there wasn’t space for both," the actress said. Watch the video here.
Earlier when Ayushmann was asked about the same, he had said, "We recently saw a clash on Independence Day, when both Gold and Satyameva Jayate did really well. If the content is good, all films will do well. Our films are different from each other, plus it is the holiday season, so it's going to be a win-win situation for both the films."
