If you have somehow missed it, John Abraham starrer Satyameva Jayate has set the cash-registers at box-office ringing. The revenge drama that released on Independence day saw a lot of takers, especially with Manoj Bajpayee and newbie Aisha Sharma playing pivotal roles, and might we add, the craze is no less than of a Friday. In fact, the film which has been directed by Milap Zaveri has left a lot of the trade pundits surprised including Taran Adarsh who took to Twitter and wrote,“#SatyamevaJayate springs a BIG SURPRISE… Plexes are good, but single screens are ROCKING… Wed ₹ 20.52 cr. India biz.” That's not it, the film has even gone ahead and emerged as John's biggest opener. Yes, the reviews haven't been favourable but the masses apparently are loving the action. Speaking of action, we recently caught up with the cast of Satyameva Jayate to play a game- JAIL or BAIL and it was a helluva ride. If you haven't guessed it already, all of three were given situations and they were asked either to jail people or bail them out. Interestingly, when quizzed about the KIKI challenge by Drake, John was the first one to raise an objection and wanted to jail celebs who are taking it up. In fact, he even went on to explain it to co-stars Manoj and Aisha, and even managed to a clear 'JAIL' from both of them. "Celebrities kya kya karte hain viewership badhane ke liye," he added. They even bailed a few celebs doing some other things, but you'll have to see the video to know it.
The interaction definitely picked momentum because the trio was in the 'Satyameva Jayate mood' and the verdicts only got better with each passing one. And it goes without a say, the drill was better than ever. Agreed?
