As Danny's son, Rinzing Denzogpa, gears up for his debut film, Squad, which will release on ZEE5 on 12th November, BollywoodLife sat down for an exclusive video interview with the starkid to converse on a range of topics, linked to his launch in the film industry. In the course of conversation, we got to know that Rinzing has trained regularly with Tiger Shroff in martial arts and that the two would also also spar with each other, at least till the time Tiger didn't get busy with his Bollywood innings. So, could an action movie with the two of them together in it be on the cards? Here's what Rinzing had to say when we inquired the same.
Opening up on training with Tiger Shroff since a young age, Rinzing Denzogpa said, “In general, since I was young, I've been training in Taekwondo, then I did Wushu with Tiger. Obviously, he did it for longer than me. We did Taekwondo, Wushu, Judo, basically anything to just sweat, you know, to have some cardiovascular activities, especially when we were young, but while I was growing up, I liked boxing, I liked UFC, I liked MMA. You just see what people are doing for example in movies or in actual life, in the cage or the ring, and then you try and emulate that. I've been doing that since I was a kid, I've been choreographing with Tiger, with my other friends, since very young, so it all comes very naturally. I enjoy doing it.”
Coming to the possibility of the two of doing a film together, Danny Denzogpa's added, “We used to work out a lot more often when we younger as opposed to now, monkeying around, doing our own thing. I used to be in the gym and then randomly start punching up and then he would block and go down...you know. Yeah...I'd love to make that happen (a martial-arts movie with him and Tiger). 'Nilesh (referring to his Squad Director, Nilesh Sahay), call Tiger right now.' I'd want to do something like a Rush Hour with him, line an action comedy. We can do four Rush Hours...an Indian version...add some masala.”
Well, fingers crossed that it does happen, what say?
