International Women's Day is finally here, not that we feel women need a special day to celebrate their greatness. There are many gorgeous and sexy women out there who are completely unaware about their greatness. Recently, we got a chance to interview Bollywood's fashionista, Sonam Kapoor, who has a lovely message for all the gorgeous women out there and it's a must read.
During the interview, we asked Sonam that after playing characters like Neerja, Ayesha, Milli Chakravarty which was the closest to her heart? To which the actress said, "I love Milli because she is the closest to me. Besides her fashion choices, which are terrible, Milli has the worst fashion game ever, she did not know what to wear. I think her personality is very much like mine, she didn't give a rat's ass about what people think and she just wants to be herself and has a great relationship with her mother and father."
Sonam further spoke about her character from Khoobsurat that gave out a lovely message for all the women out there. The diva said, "I like her, I like the fact that she was like, I'm going to wait around for my prince. If the prince wants to come get me he needs to love me for who I am. I like that, I feel like that is such a great message for all the girls out there who are like, I feel they have been brainwashed. Since a young age it's like you have to get a BA or a BSc and then you can get married and then you need to get married to this right person who has a nine-to-five job. You feel like you need to be a certain person so that you can find the right person and that shouldn't be it. You should be allowed to be who you are and it's not like a metro problem, it's like a problem all over India. Women think that they need to be a certain way so that they can get a certain guy." We couldn't agree with Sonam more here.
Sonam further spoke about her character Milli Chakravarty from Khoobsurat and said, "Milli went through hardships trying to change herself and she was like dude, that's not working out, it makes me unhappy, I might as well be myself and someone doesn't love me for who I am than peace to that guy." We love how the diva ended her message with a funny tone as she added, "And then obviously Fawad Khan fell in love with her."
The gorgeous Sonam Kapoor has truly given out a strong message to all the pretty ladies on this special occasion. We would like to wish all women out there a happy Women's Day and hope they pay heed to Sonam's lovely message for them.
