The Madhubala of small screen has been shown the exit door by the makers of JDJ 7
We were the first one to tell you that Drashti Dhami's journey as a host on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 might come to an end very soon. Well, it's official now. Yes, the TV actor, who proved her dancing skills by winning Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 and her acting skills by ruling millions of hearts as the Madhubala of the small screen has called it quits from JDJ 7.
"It was communicated to me last night by the channel that I was getting replaced. While it's unfortunate that my stint had to end so quick and abruptly, honestly I had a great time. Nonetheless it's over for me now and I would like to wish all the contestants and the channel all the very best," says the Madhubala:Ek Ishq Ek Junoon actor.
Drashti then took on to Twitter to inform all her fans about her exit. She tweeted, "Tweepies - my journey at Jhalak comes to an end. Thank u all for ur love & support :-)."
And if our sources are to be believed then, Manish Paul, who hosted the previous season with Kapil Sharma will join Ranvir Shorey as the host. "I have been approached, but I have not yet taken the final call. If things work out, I would love to be a part of the show again," the Mickey Virus actor says.
While it's sad that Drashti has been shown the exit door, but at the same time, we are quite excited to see Manish back on JDJ. If at all he accepts the offer, of course.
