Storyline

Gulabo Sitabo is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. It stars Amitabh Bachchan as Mirza, a grumpy and miserly landlord, and Ayushmann Khurrana as Baankey, a shrewd and cunning tenant. The film is set in Lucknow and tells the story of the rivalry between the two men. The film was released on Amazon Prime Video on 12 June 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It received positive reviews from critics, who praised the performances of Bachchan and Khurrana, the screenplay, and the direction. The film was also a commercial success, becoming one of the most-watched films on Amazon Prime Video.
