Apart from Shilpa Shetty, stars like Paresh Rawal, Pranitha Subhash, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tiku Talsania, Meezaan Jaffrey, Ashutosh Rana, Akshay Khanna are part of the film. This film is not only a comeback film for Shilpa Shetty, but also a comeback for director Priyadarshan. Priyadarshan's earlier Bollywood film Rangrej came in 2013 in Hindi. Hungama 2 is a sequel to the movie Hungama, a Bollywood comedy-drama film directed by Priyadarshan.
