Inquilaab is an Indian Hindi-language political action thriller film starring Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi. The film tells the story of Amarnath, an educated young man who is unable to find a job because he refuses to compromise his morals. He is eventually helped by a politician, Shankar Narayan, who trains him to be a police officer. Amarnath rises through the ranks of the police force and becomes an ACP. However, he soon realizes that Shankar is corrupt and is using him for his own nefarious purposes. Amarnath's wife, Asha, tries to change his ways, but he is eventually forced to confront Shankar and bring him to justice.
