The film has been shot in more than 100 location around the world and relates important events in India's history through the lens of Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir, who plays the titular role, will be seen as an autistic man who understands emotions like no other. The film was earlier slated for a Christmas 2020 release but was delayed due to the pandemic and will now hit the screens on 11 August 2022 and benefit from the Independence Day weekend.
