Major is an Indian film released on June 3, 2022 in theatres. It stars Adivi Sesh, Saiee Majrekar, Shobhita Dulipala in the biographical action drama based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The celebrated officer was killed in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film Major brings to life his heroic story. The film is directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, and A+S Movies. Major is filmed simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi languages. This marks the Hindi film debut of Adivi Sesh in the role of Major. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Murali Sharma and Anish Kuruvilla in important roles. The film was delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic and was shot over a period of 120 days around 75 locations.
