The gorgeous Bollywood item girl turns 39 today
Born on August 23, 1973, Malaika Arora Khan started her Bollywood career with an item number in Shahrukh Khan-starrer Dil Se. The number Chaiyya chaiyya - in which she shook her booty atop a train along with SRK - turned out to be quite a hit number. Although Malaika hasn’t really done a full-fledged role in a Hindi movie, she has quite successfully managed to be labelled as the most sought-after item gal in B-town with quite a few hit songs to her credit. Married to actor-producer Arbaaz Khan (superstar Salman Khan’s brother), Malaika has a son named Arhaan with him. The couple first met while shooting for an ad for a coffee brand, and fell in love.
Malaika’s item song in the blockbuster film Dabangg - Munni badnam hui - was quite a chartbuster. The babe recently performed on a pacey number in Housefull 2 - Anarkali disco chali.
