PARRVARISH: Vivek Mushran, happy birthday!

The Daddyji of this TV household turns 43 today

Bollywood and TV actor Vivek Mushran was born on August 9, 1969 at Narsingpur in Madhya Pradesh. He debuted in Bollywood opposite Manisha Koirala with Subhash Ghai's Saudagar (1991). He later shared screen space with Madhuri Dixit, Jackie Shroff, Amrish Puri, Dalip Tahil, Anupam Kher and Gulshan Grover. After that he was only seen in a handful of movies that included Anjaane (1994) and Ram Jaane (1995). But his career as a ‘hero’ couldn’t really take off. So Vivek switched to the small screen and was seen in various soaps in major roles, like Star Plus' sitcom Son Pari, Zee TV's serial Kittie Party and Sony's shows Bhaskar Bharti and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, and Doordarshan TV serial Ae Dil-E-Naadaan. But now Vivek is reigning the hearts of small screen audiences through his role of Lucky Singh Ahluwalia, a father who walks the tight rope of parenting in Parrvarish.
