Satish Tare, a comedian in Hindi and Marathi films, theatre and on television, passed away today. The actor was suffering from diabetes and had been hospitalised for gangrene, say reports. On hearing the news of his passing away, singer-composer Kaushal S Inamdar tweeted, "I am absolutely heartbroken by the news of Satish Tare's demise. He was a brilliant actor. I sincerely wish that his soul rests in peace."
Satish acted in movies like Balak Palak, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Navra Mazha Navsacha, Valu (The Wild Bull) and Nana Mama, among others. He was also seen on Marathi TV show Fu Bai Fu. May his soul rest in peace.
