You won't believe what Kapil said about the entire fuss around his walk out from CNWK and his new show- The Kapil Sharma Show. Read on...
So Kapil Sharma has finally hit back with his new show - The Kapil Sharma Show. The first promo just hit the web and it looks every bit promising. Kapil cracking us up with his insane sense of humour or say him fooling around with his team which includes Ali Asgar, Sunil Grover among others - oh how we missed these guys? However, having said that, we also cannot forget the fact how Kapil was ridiculed before being thrown out of his pet show- Comedy Nights With Kapil on Colors. For all that we know, things got really ugly between the channel and Kapil, who then replaced Kapil with Krushna Abhishek and are now running the show(Comedy Nights Live) with tasteless mockery on Kapil. Definitely something to talk about and everyone would want to know what Kapil has to say in response to it. Well, the man has finally spoken. And this time, he has given all the answers be it regarding Colors, Krushna or his new show. Read on...
#On Krushna taking a dig at him on Comedy Nights Live
Kapil reacted to the whole fuss surrounding his fall out with Krushna but made sure he doesn't lose his cool as he said, "“I want to entertain everyone. We will not retaliate by taking digs at Krushna. This is not my idea of entertainment." Ouch! Now that's going to hurt Krushna real bad. Only Kapil could have thought of an answer like. Well said boy..
#On his fall out with Colors
Whether it was due to monetary issues or creative tussle, we all know how Kapil was forcibly asked to leave Comedy Nights With Kapil. However, Kapil takes it with a pinch of salt saying, "Moving on in life is important. We disagreed on some matters. Upasna Singh(who played Bua) had contract issues so she had to stay back. But I will take life as it comes. Very few comedians have a great timing like my team.
#On why his new show is titled - The Kapil Sharma Show
If you remember, everyone was under impression that Kapil's new show is titled 'Comedy Style'. However, the ace comedian revealed that that was just a rumour. The creative team conducted a market research where majority of the people were like - "When is Kapil Sharma's show coming up?" That's what led to finalising - The Kapil Sharma Show as the name of the show. The team reportedly didn't want to give up on the brand identity which is Kapil.
#On Shah Rukh Khan being the first guest on the show
There were reports that SRK will be promoting FAN on Kapil's new show as the first guest. However, Kapil refused to confirm any such report saying, "I heard from news only." Now we dunno if it's a deliberate move to keep the BIG SURPRISE under the wraps. Or is Shah Rukh really not going to be the first guest. But we're sure SRK will make it to Kapil's show soon considering he shares such a great equation with the funny man.
#On giving up on iconic characters like Gutthi, Dadi due to copyright issues
It's been reported that Kapil's new show which will be aired on Sony TV cannot continue with the same characters that they played on Comedy Nights With Kapil. But Kapil isn't perturbed by this for the only fact because he believes in his team. He said, "Very few comedians have great timing like my team has. We will have same artistes. My team is a master of disguise." Following which, Sunil Grover even dropped a hint on his new look saying how he has grown a beard for his new role.
Well, it's good to see Kapil's team back with a bang! The Kapil Sharma Show will officially go air on April 23! Stay tuned to BollywoodLife for more updates.
