While the the fans are waiting with bated breath for the trailer to be finally unveiled tonight, I bring you 5 things that the world is eager to see in the trailer

The countdown for Puli trailer release has started. In less than 8 hours from now, the world will get a sneak peek into the world of Chimbu Devan's Puli starring Illayathalapathy Vijay, Sridevi, Kiccha Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika. The teaser of Puli created a storm on internet and was loved by one and all. The response for Puli trailer is expected to be even more phenomenal than that of the teaser. Puli marks Vijay's 58th film, but the Tamil superstar has never been part of a period flick until now. This means it is the first time people are going to see Vijay in warrior avatar. Though we got a fleeting glance of Vijay- The Warrior, we are sure to get a brief glimpse into Vijay's gladiator avatar. It would be interesting to see Vijay trying out something very different after a long time.

Sridevi's comeback

Though she made her comeback in Bollywood with English Vinglish, Sridevi would be making her comeback into Tamil cinema with Puli after nealy three decades. Considering the buzz around her role, we have to watch out for her role of evil queen in the film. Also, it will definitely be a treat for Sridevi's Tamil fans to see her speaking in Tamil in the trailer.

Vijay - Shruti Haasan chemistry

Though the film stars super hot Hansika Motwani, all eyes would be on Shruti Haasan as she is paired opposite Vijay for the first time. Throughout the trailer, the chemistry between Vijay and Shruti would be something to watch out for. Considering Vijay is a lot like Mahesh Babu in terms of personality, will Shruti share the same sizzling onscreen chemistry with Vijay like she had shared with Mahesh in Srimanthudu?

VFX effects and fight sequences

One aspect of the trailer, which will be highly scrutinised is the VFX effects used in it, as comparisons with SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali is inevitable, since both are period flicks. Will Vijay's Puli manage to recreate the visual grandeur of Baahubali?

And the mystery around the plot of Puli is finally expected to revealed in the trailer. What will be Vijay's role in the film and how would this fantasy fiction play out would be one the most looked forward aspects of the trailer.
