Actress Sonam Kapoor turned into a diva with her film 'Aisha.' Today, the film has completed nine years of its release and the actress deemed that it was 'crazy adventure'. Earlier in the day, Sonam shared a small video from the film on Instagram celebrating the completion of nine years of the film's release. Sharing the video, she wrote, "Aisha was less a role for me and more like a best friend. This movie is close to my heart as are the people associated with it. Be it goofing around on sets, shooting at different locations, or just playing our parts, it definitely was a crazy adventure. Talking about Aisha, the film was helmed by Rajshree Ojha and was appreciated by the audience as well. It had opened to mix reviews from the critics. Apart from Sonam, the film also starred Abhay Deol, Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh, Ira Dubey and Amrita Puri in key roles.

Aisha was set in the upper-class society of Delhi. It was an adaptation of Jane Austen's 1815 novel 'Emma'. It bears the same tone as the 1995 cult Hollywood film 'Clueless', which was also adapted from Austen's novel.

Meanwhile, Sonam is currently gearing up for The Zoya Factor which also stars Dulquer Salmaan in the lead role.

Talking about her character in The Zoya Factor, Sonam Kapoor recently said, "A lot of girls tend to be like, 'Listen, if I am such a mess, how am I ever going to succeed in life?' But I want to say, it's okay to be a mess. I think that's what I said through Mili in 'Khoobsurat' and that's what I liked about Zoya as well. I like to play girls who are regular and normal, who have regular problems because all of us have them."

Directed by Parmanu helmer Abhishek Sharma, the film is set to hit the screens on September 20.
