Aamir Khan is probably the best in the business. The actor who sits on an eclectic body of work, boasts of filmography that is the stuff for books. Not to mention, there is a method to his madness and his craft that makes him the actor he is. Like that wasn't enough, he is truly made of a different grain who doesn't wear around his superstardom like an armour. Instead, he makes it seem easy, which BTW it's not.
But it truly doesn't end there. Aamir, amidst all, is a great family man and great husband to wife Kiran Rao. He recently celebrated his birthday with her by his side and it showed- their love and the bond that keeps it intact! In fact, indulging in a little social media PDA, Aamir has taken to his handle to share an adorable picture of them in Maharastrian attire. But that's not even the best part, which is his caption. It read, "The cutest in the world... mazi baiko ❤" That's his new DP too btw!
Professionally, the actor was last seen in Thugs Of Hindostan, which proved to be a box office dud. However, recently, on the occasion of his 54th birthday, Aamir made a special announcement of his new film, Lal Singh Chaddha. While cutting the birthday cake with his Kiran, Aamir confirmed that his production house has indeed bought the rights and they will soon kickstart the movie. Shedding further light on it, Aamir revealed that he will play a Sardaar in the Hindi remake. Aamir will also go through a massive transformation for his character. The actor confirmed that he will lose 20 kgs weight for the role, along with six months of rigorous preparations for the film. It will be directed by Secret Superstar's director Advait Chandan.
If you're not in the know, Forrest Gump was based on a 1986 novel by the same name, written by Winston Groom. Tom Hanks played the lead character alongside Robert Wright and Gary Sinise. The movie received several accolades and was the biggest hit of that year.
Reportedly, the actor has also decided to team up with Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari again. If a Mumbai Mirror report is to be believed, then the Aamir shoot a cameo in Nitesh's next, Chhichhore, starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles.
