Aamir Khan wished his daughter, Ira Khan, who turned a year older today with an adorable Instagram post. Late on Thursday night, the actor dug out an adorable throwback photo of his daughter from the archives and coupled it with an 'every-parent-ever' caption. Aamir wrote, "Happy 21st @khan.ira !!! Can't believe you got there so fast! You will always remain 6 for me! Love you. Papa.”
The picture is dated January 21, 2005 and Aamir Khan is seen sporting heavy moustache and long hair. The actor had taken up this transformation for his patriotic drama Mangal Pandey: The Rising Look. Then, six years old Ira, is snapped with her daddy dearest.
On the work front, Aamir had announced on his birthday that he will star in the remake of Oscar winning Hollywood film Forrest Gump. The actor revealed that the film is titled Laal Singh Chaddha and release during Christmas 2020. The film, produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures, will feature Aamir stepping into the shoes of Tom Hanks for the 1994 classic. Secret Superstar helmer Advait Chandan is directing the film from a script by actor-writer Atul Kulkarni. Aamir will be losing around 20 kgs for his role in Laal Singh Chaddha. He will be seen sporting a turban for some segments of the film.
Interestingly, releasing around the same time Hrithik Roshan's super hero flick Krrish 4 and Luv Ranjan's Ajay Dev-Ranbir Kapoor starrer untitled project. Christmas 2020 will see a clash of titans at the box office.
