We exclusively told you several months ago that Aamir Khan is going to play an astronaut in Rakesh Sharma's biopic. While many people including Aamir's publicists played down this news, it was revealed recently that the superstar would act in the movie right after he completes Thugs of Hindostan. And while we had revealed to you about this movie last year, we now hear that the the movie has been in the making since the past eight years.
In fact, currently Aamir is the only actor who has signed on for the movie and astronaut Rakesh Sharma finally confirmed this news. He was even quick to add that nothing else has been finalised, not even the final script. In an interview to Deccan Chronicle, the astronaut revealed, "This (the discussions about the biopic on his life) has been going on since the last eight years now. It has taken long to come to this point. The filmmakers were busy with other projects and I was busy too. It is a very tedious affair. It’s still in the offing and Aamir Khan is going to play my role. But the rest has not been finalised. It all depends on how the movie is handled. Even the final script is not locked yet, so I don’t know what parts of my life will be portrayed on screen." ALSO READ - Aamir Khan's next on Rakesh Sharma to be titled Salute
