Aamir Khan may have moved on with the whole controversy he was embroiled in last year, but people still seem to be stuck in the past. The 51 year old actor unveiled his upcoming film, Dangal's poster two days ago and while a lot of people lauded how brilliantly it touches the right sentiment with respect to gender bias, that's prevalent in this country. While a lot from the city may shrug it off and consider no problems whatsoever, many do believe that gender bias still persists in this country. Although, the film is a biopic on the life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat who helped is daughters compete at an international level for wrestling, one of the social ideas executed by the film focuses on this taboo topic.
However, looks like being the good Samaritan ain't gonna do Aamir any good as people are still upset and rather haven't gotten over his comment on leaving the country over the growing communal disputes. It's funny how this actor is still punished for the most innocent and real state of mind revealed whereas some with a krass mentality are still treated as a saint.
