Hera Pheri fans, it's time to rejoice for the makers are ready with the third installment, but this time starring John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan along with Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty.
The entire star cast launched the movie in Mumbai yesterday (January 12). Speaking at the event Abhishek said, "Neeraj Vora had shared the storyline with me three years back. It is a huge honour for me to be part of the film. I am so thrilled that John is working with me on this as our chemistry is tremendous. It is in fact so good that there is no need of other actors, and that is why no female lead is yet finalized for the film."
Paresh Rawal, who has starred in the two previous installments mentioned, "I do miss Akshay (Kumar). However, it is not like somebody has been replaced. It is a new project."
John said, "I called Akshay on receiving this offer. He is very happy for me. He is a great friend of mine and we have also worked together many a time and we enjoy working together."
Suneil Shetty and Paresh Rawal will reprise their roles as Shyam and Baburao, respectively. Hera Pheri 3 will be directed by Neeraj Vora and will reportedly go on floors in March.
Also present at the event were Anil Kapoor and Tanishaa Mukerji.
The first movie of the Hera Pheri franchise came in 2000. The second movie, Phir Hera Pheri, released in theatres in 2006.
