She clears the air...
Yesterday we told you how Aditi Rao Hydari's car was stopped by cops for taking a wrong turn. It caused her a lot of issues that day and reports suggest a challan of 700 rupees was even issued. The news caused a stir and guess that has disturbed the actress a lot. Hence, she issued a statement clearing the air. She proclaimed that it was neither her car nor was she driving it.
Aditi says, "The mall was bang opposite the hotel I was staying at and I wanted to walk down the road to go to the mall but was advised by the event staff to take a car instead because it was a weekend and the streets were pretty crowded. I was attending to some urgent work mails on my phone when my car stopped, assuming that it must be a signal, I didn't look up and continued with my work on phone. I realized we were stopped by the cops when my driver stepped out and understood that some law must be broken. I stepped out of the car with my team and walked towards the mall."
The actress seems really disturbed by the fuss it created. She says, "I honestly don't see why such a big deal should be made about this. I was not in the driver's seat, it wasn't my car and he was not even my regular driver. I don't appreciate my name being used to break a rule and get away with it, so I left."
So now you know what exactly happened out there.
