The D-Day is here for Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. The multistarrer romantic drama has released in UAE, and is all set to release in India tomorrow. A special screening of the film in India garnered a thumbs up for the film from the industry-wallahs including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor. The audience in UAE cannot stop talking about the film on Twitter. And everyone is quite impressed by Ranbir Kapoor's performance as the lead charcater Ayaan. Next on the gush list is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - people are bowled over by her glamourous avatar. And finally the crisp script and direction by Karan Johar, is getting praised a lot. But the critics don't seem very happy with the final product of Karan's imagination and money.
As per the review published on gulfnews.com, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the "lovechild" of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and The Fault In Our Stars. Umm... there we almost have the entire plot of the film.
Ranbir Kapoor plays a wealthy bachelor, Ayan, who own a private jet and is an internet sensation like Jusitn Bieber. He falls in love with Anushka Sharma, Alizeh, who friendzones him. Gulfnews writes "Kapoor is like an adorable, angst-prone puppy. But he is thick-headed too. Being spurned multiple times by the same woman doesn’t make him any wiser and his relentless pursuit of Alizeh isn’t too convincing."
We were so excited to see Aishwarya in a glamourous avatar after a long time. But her role doesn't go beyond being a glam doll in the film. "Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who plays an alluring poetess, does what’s asked of her. Saba, her character, pouts and purrs. But her role doesn’t go beyond what you see in the trailer." gulfnews adds.
The rating given to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is 2.5 out of 5
