Karan Johar and Pritam talk about the music of the film...
We are so excited about the release of the teaser if Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. We bet you are too! But now here is another reason to be even more excited. We won't just get the teaser of the film, but also get to hear the audio of the film. Yayy! Yes, the soundtrack of the film will be released simultaneously with the teaser on digital platforms, reports a leading daily. The movie starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, and Fawad Khan is all set for a Diwali release. We guess today we are getting our pre-Diwali gift. The music has been composed by Pritam.
Pritam, while talking to a news daily divulged a lot of details about the film and the importance of music in it. “I'm always excited about working with Pritam. The six months I spent with him were the best months I've ever spent musically . Listening to all kinds of melodies was an enriching experience. Now, I'm looking forward to everyone listening to the music, which is the emotion and the soul of my film." said the music composer.

This is not the first time Pritam is collaborating with Dharma Productions. Back in 2013 teh music composer also helmed melodies for Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Incidentally, YJHD also starred Ranbir Kapoor as the male lead. All the songs were a massive hit. Balam Pichkari, Dilli Wali Girlfriend, and Badtameez Dil are still party favourites! We hope the music of ADHm also creates a similar magic.

Director Karan too has high hopes for the music of the film. In an interview with the leading daily he said "I am very attached to the song just like the title track of Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), which will always be a breath in my career graph. The title song of ADHM also features in the film's teaser. Hence, the synergy with the simultaneous audio of the movie."
Those who have listened to the title track are saying that the old school Karan Johar is back with the song. It has that signature KJO feel that we loved in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Kal Ho Na Ho. Shah Rukh Khan, who is rumoured to be having a cameo in the film, has praised the music of the film as well. He has said "I have heard three songs (from ADHM) and they are amazing. I have heard the title track and it is one of the nicest ballets. It is fantastic." We will take King Khan's word and believe him.
