The teaser is out tomorrow...
Karan Johar is ready with his sixth film (if you count out the short he has directed for Bombay Talkies) in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. His last film was Student of The Year, that released in 2012, and launched the careers of Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
His upcoming film is an intense romantic drama, said to be on the lines of Rishi Kapoor and Rakhee's Doosra Aadmi (though the makers are denying this vehemently). Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma play the main leads in the film, with Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan having an important role in the film.
The first proper look of the film is out, and it looks very intriguing for sure. Though Fawad Khan is missing from the poster, he will surely be there in the main poster.
The poster is divided into two parts as you can see above. The top portion has Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma lying on a bed, both laughing in a carefree sort of way. This could be an indication that Ranbir's love story with Anushka is very light and all smiles (though it won't end the same way).
At the same time, the bottom portion of the poster has Ranbir and Aishwarya Rai holding each other closely, and that pose surely is full of passion with a hint of sensuousness. Above all, the dynamic between looks more serious compared to what Ranbir had with Anushka. Interestingly, Ranbir is seemingly wearing the same coat in both the pics, so is he actually cheating on both of them at the same time?
The interesting usage of the colour pink for the word dil also came to our notice. Usually dil (heart) is associated with the colour red, so why is it pink here? Maybe we have to wait for the teaser tomorrow to know if this is of any significance.

There is also another fact about the film that will make you more curious about the film. Shah Rukh Khan will be having a cameo in the film, which none of the production team members are confirming, but we have the news. Shah Rukh had even heard three songs which he talked about during Eid celebrations when he met the press. “I have heard three songs and they are amazing. I have heard the title track and it is one of the nicest ballets. It is fantastic. I have not seen the trailer of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and I haven’t said that this is how a trailer should be, I have read (these) reports. Even if I think that way I will not discuss it outside. I have faith it (trailer) will be good.” He had even tweeted about the music saying, “Simple, happy & innocent. Had so much of it with Ranbir, Karan & Jitesh tonite. Ae Dil hai Mushkil Riff is 2 die for.”
The film is scheduled to release during Diwali and clashes with Ajay Devgn's ambitious directorial Shivaay.
