After Barkha Bisht, Kunwar Amar now walks out of Mahesh Bhatt's Naamkarann. The actor though clarified that there is no bad blood that made him quit the show. "I had absolutely no problem with the makers of anything. It's just that I felt my character could not develop further. Like it had done it's job and his part was just over. The makers also agreed with this after I discussed it with them", the actor exclusively told us. The makers are also planning a leap which the actor didn't want to be a part of. He adds," They were planning a leap in the show and I didn't want to play an older guy."
The actor is playing the role of Aladdin in the show and unlike a lot of other actors on television, he is walking out on a good note. Amar speaks about his experience in the show and says that it's the best things that could have happened. He says," It was a great experience. There was so much to learn and in fact, Mahesh (Bhatt) Sir would sit and watch every episode and give inputs on it." When asked about his future projects, he says," There are quite a few interesting things lined up. I'm pretty much open to experimenting with everything that comes along." We'd love to see him back in a dance reality show pretty soon. After his exit, the show will now focus on Avni and Daya. Kunwar Amarjeet will shoot for few days before his character will end on the show while Reema Lagoo as Daya will be the central character with Avni. Buzz is the grand-daughter and grandmother track will take the story ahead. It is apparently a last ditch effort to save the show before it ends in February.
The show did not garner as many TRPs as everyone expected and was about to go off-air once but the makers decided to give it some more time. What are your thoughts on this? Post them in the comments below and stay hooked with us for more.
