Following sexual harassment allegations, Sajid Khan was forced to step down as the director of Housefull 4. But, his problems did not end there as Bipasha Basu called out him for his lewd behaviour on the sets of the film. And now, Dia Mirza who had a cameo in his directorial Heyy Babyy (2006) has agreed to the fact that he is extremely sexist. In an interview with India Today, Dia mentioned that she was disturbed reading the accounts and added, "I agree that Sajid was obnoxious, extremely sexist and ridiculous. Even for me, the details of these accounts are beyond shocking. I have personally always have had a radar for such people. I have never invested in a relationship with such people even in the workplace."
While she knew about the director's indecent behaviour, she never thought Sajid was capable of mistreating a woman like this. "We often brush off certain kind of behaviour. But I wouldn't have imagined that Sajid could be capable of doing this to a woman. I completely understand the shock people are feeling right now, but it would be unfair to say that the names that are coming out are shocking," she said.
For the ones who are not aware of the allegations levelled against Sajid Khan, let us tell you that actress Rachel White, Saloni Chopra, senior journalist Karishma Upadhyay and a crew member of Humshakals have accused Sajid of sexual abuse. And with other Bollywood actresses talking about his indecent behaviour in public, we wonder what will be Sajid's next move.
