Yes, the curly-haired babe is latest to join the biopic bandwagon...
Last year truly belonged to Kangana Ranaut courtesy her flawless and inspiring performance in Vikas Bahl's Queen. Not only the babe managed to impress the audience, she even caught the attention of Bollywood bigwigs who couldn't stop raving about her act. After effortlessly essaying the role of innocent Rani in Bahl's directorial venture, Kangana is now set to play a mountaineer on the big screen. Now how cool is that? National Award winning director Hansal Mehta has signed Ms Ranaut for his next which is based on the life of a mountaineer.
The film, we hear, is about a mountaineer who scales one of the tallest peaks of the world. Sounds super interesting to us! Though the script process is yet to start, Mehta has already discussed the project with the Queen actress and feels she is perfect for the role.
Kangana, who is currently busy with the sequel of Tanu Weds Manu, has confirmed her collaboration with the Shahid director. She told a leading tabloid, "I've nursed the desire to do a biopic for a long time. With a director like Hansal, it's as good as it gets!" The pahadi kudi will have to undergo extensive training for his film. We know it’s going to be super tough but wethinks the Revolver Rani heroine will pull this one successfully as well!
In 2013, Farhan Akhtar swept away almost all the awards for reprising Milkha Singh on the big screen and last year it was Priyanka Chopra was did biopic of Olympic boxing champion MC Mary Kom.
